PADI Pro - Master Scuba Diver Trainer

Subjects include wreck mapping and survey, wreck penetration drills, use of wreck reels, deep diving techniques, air consumption calculations, navigation skills and techniques, search and recovery drills, selection and implementation of appropriate search patterns, and use of lift bags. Night Diving is taught using lights guides marker bouys.

Entry Requirements:

Current PADI Instructor or completion of an IDC or OWSI course within the last 12 months.

Minimum Age:

18 years

Completion Requirement:

Each specialty application requires 10 logged dives in that specialty. Candidates qualify for the Master Scuba Diver Trainer rating only after they have certified 25 divers and submitted a separate application to PADI. The MSDT application fee is the students' responsibility.
