Specials - Almeria Wrecks



It's a merchant steam ship, and is 100-meters long. It sunk at the end of the 1920's when it collided with a natural rock sitting at a depth of 3 meters, and located near the Cabo de Gata Point.

At the dive site, enjoy seeing snappers, pollacks, grouper, ocean sunfish, barracudas, eagle rays. The portside is also open allowing divers to access the cellars, where you will find morays, brown meagres, moray eels, conger eels, white breams, and many red sea fish.

  • Location: One-nautical mile SW of the Cabo de Gata Lighthouse.

  • Depth: 27/42 meters

  • Conditions: Due to strong currents and the depth, only experienced certified divers can dive here (Minimum certification: PADI Advanced or equivalent).
